How claims & caps work
- There is no fixed limit on the number of claims.
- The pet parent can claim multiple times during the policy year.
- Each claim is reimbursed up to the cap shown for that benefit.
- All claims draw from the purchased Sum Insured once fully exhausted, no further claims are payable for that year.
- Co-payment (if any) applies as chosen at purchase.

Covered from Day 8 of policy. Each injury type has its own specific cap as shown below.

SECTION D
What’s Not Covered – in plain language
Main exclusions pet parents should know before making a claim.
Regular vet visits, health check-ups, vaccination costs and deworming are not covered.
Any illness or injury the pet had before the policy start date is not covered.
Conditions the pet was born with birth defects, structural abnormalities are excluded.
Grooming, nail clipping, dental scaling, spaying/castration (unless medically required), and microchipping are not covered.
Costs related to pregnancy, whelping, kittening, or rearing puppies/kittens are not covered.
Malignant cancer of any type is excluded. Only benign tumours are covered.
Supplements, probiotics, medical devices, and pet accessories even if vet-recommended are not covered.
Alternative medicine including homeopathy, herbal medication, acupuncture, and hydrotherapy are not covered.
Tooth decay, gum disease, and dental damage not caused by an accident are excluded..
If the pet is not up-to-date on required vaccines, claims for those diseases will be rejected.
Important: pet care requirements to keep policy valid
The pet must be vaccinated against Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parvovirus, Rabies, Kennel Cough and Corona.
Regular de-worming, grooming and a healthy diet must be maintained.
Claims may be denied if adequate care has not been taken.
